Ayahuaska, Natém or Yajé is revered by pre-Columbian Amazonian people as the most self-revealing sacred plant medicine of all. Throughout time and throughout the Americas, sacramental participation has allowed the human consciousness to interact with plant consciousness allowing the psyche to unfold and also to confront the false ego. This medicine is here to assist human evolution into higher realms of existence in close empathic communion with the Earth. This painting came about in an attempt to document the state in which one often finds oneself during this sacrament. Ayahuaska as a woman in a deep state of surrender to her own divinity.

TANGKAS
“The Water Dakini”
This Tangka has been created with the image from my painting titled “Water Dakini.” It’s available in a Buddhist format because it was painted in a traditional Tibetan style under the supervision of my teacher from Bhutan, Lama Pema Tenzin, and it was part of my White Dakini Training. Available in 3 sizes:
17” x 24” — $85 plus $7 shipping.
This painting is a documentation of all sources of water on earth, including glaciers, oceans, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, rainclouds, geysers, hot-springs, water caves, mist and dew.
In the center, a high priestess in prayer blesses the water. This figure is associated with the Buddhist Goddess Quan-Yin, Mother of Compassion, and with the Goddess Oshun of the Orisha, Mother of the Sweet Waters and fertility.
QUILTED ALTAR CLOTH
“Water Medicine Mandala”
I have created this quilt with the image of “Water Medicine Mandala.” This painting combines traditional Buddhist symbols and Sacred Geometry intertwined with Amazonian Plants of Power and holds a Prayer for the Perpetual Renewal of Water. The artwork has been printed in high resolution on silky satin and quilted on organic hemp backing. It’s a perfect piece for a ceremonial mesa or for your special altar.

This design originated form a traditional Buddhist incorporating indigenous symbols and representations of the Amazon Plant Medicine.
The spiral in the center comes from an ancient design in Southern Chile used by the Mapuche shamans in their ceremonials drums. This symbols represents the sun in our solar system, our source of life. The 8-pointed star, also form the Mapuche tradition, used vastly in their weavings, represents Venus. This is in honor of balance, and beauty. In their ancient language, of spoken tradition only (no written language existed), the word of “beauty”, and the word for “perfection” is the same word: “ad”. I included this in the center in reverence to this elevated conception of beauty and balance.
The eight-petal lotus is part of the original blue print. The four directions, and the four elements remained loyal to the original one as well.
The most relevant additions to this medicine wheel are the depictions of the “chacruna” and the “caapi”, the leaf and vine, which combined create the brew known as the ‘Ayahuaska”. This is the sacrament of the ancient people of the Amazon basin. Considered by all who have experienced one of the most revealing experiences of the great mystery of life, and also healing of the mind, body and spirit.
The other personal addition to this blueprint is the large blue circle around the four elements. This circle is the prayer for the perpetual renewal of water, the most precious element that sustains all life. A circle of invocation to water, always purifying, nurturing and renewing us.
