The All Seeing Eye of God

The Eye of Horus is the “All Seeing Eye, also “The Left Eye of God”, where nothing can be hidden.

This painting came about in a compelling desire to paint “something Egyptian”; I still don’t fully understand the workings of how these deities all came together. I knew I wanted a balance of male and female. Therefore I included the male scribe on the top, and the high priestess on the bottom.

I took the liberty and artistic license to include the Birthing Goddess from a Central American cave relief right in the center of this eye, to allow “God” to see from a Female perspective.
